Confusing ipc standards Smema srff
« on: November 07, 2024, 01:18:31 pm »
So my cyberoptics SPI and AOI accept SRFF files,  but the ones the spi produces aren't accepted by the AOI and I haven't found a way to convert recent IPC stuff to SRFF. Has anyone used SRFF with kicad?  My uic machines can export it,  but they export an XML version that appears to be newer than the non xml version the cyberoptics machines support.  The AOI crashes on SRF files from both the UIC and SPI with no info,  so I'm programming it from a basic centroid file but it would be nice to already have the footprint info.
