What an awesome find!! It looks like that one isn’t adjustable, so probably optimized for normal PVC wires?

Thanks, i found it at the bottom of a french secondhand marketplace 🤣 and it can actually be adjusted. It works like a revolver. Each opening has a different diameter in order to feed the cable correctly. It goes from 0,03mm2 all the way up to 6mm2. But if you mean adjusting for the isolation thickness i dont know to be honest. Still for this price ill just find out i guess. And i work with pvc cables most of the time anyways.

Edit: just read the manual. And yes, the isolation thickness can be adjusted as well. Its done by adjusting the screw of the according opening of the revolver plate.

I knew about the revolver mechanism but that isn't what I meant -- to me, selecting from discrete sizes is not adjusting.

But you're right that it is also adjustable, I missed that section (9.0.4) the first time I looked at the manual (before writing).

P.S. The nonconductive stuff on wire is "insulation", not "isolation" (unlike in German).

Thanks Tooki,
„Insulation“ I will try to remember it correctly. If you know anyone who might still have spare parts for the WDT let me know please. There is some extra spring that does not come stock if i did my research correctly. It does twist the cable stronger than the standard configuration. Id love to find that part (5100-60). I did write a mail to the WDT customer service… happy new year!

Out of curiosity, why do you want the wire twisted extra-tightly?

WDT appears to have been bought up by WEZAG, I assume that is who you wrote? AFAIK, WEZAG does not sell to end users, only to OEMs. I would check with LAPP, since they resold this device.
