Chemtronic flux-off spray brush is ESD safe?
« on: July 07, 2021, 11:44:16 am »
Hi
This Chemtronix “Flux-off” spray has a brush on its nozzle….do you think its ESD non-generative to brush over components after spraying them with the “flux-off”?

Visually it does look like it: https://tmelectronics.ru/product/CH-ES830BE/ but they don't tell you.

If you are working on something super sensitive to ESD I would get a proper esd safe brush and then add a wrist strap. For normal electronics that thing will be fine.
