Registered Airmail from China

LCSC have this notice:

Kindly noticed Registered Airmail shipping will be delayed due to the COVID-19.  For urgent orders please choose Express shipping way.

Lots of flights have been cancelled and most airmail is carried in the holds of passenger planes. Possibly the problem?

My latestest order (14/3) has been dispatched and handover today to 'service provider', at least left LCSC

Also, I noticed - UPS has changed an usual route from Shenzhen, everything is going through Thailand / India

So registered air from China can be even slower? Who knew?!

   Is Air Mail even a thing any more? MOST first class mail goes by air even if you don't pay for Air Mail.  In fact, we rarely use mail at all except for packages and I certainly wouldn't pay the exorbitant rates for AM for those.

India is shutting down as well, but don't know if it is a total ban yet. Worst case your package can get stuck in some intermediate location.
