Hot air gun only blows when hold hand near holder

Hi,
Our Xytronic LF-852D hot air gun only blows hot air when i hold my hand on, or near the gun holder.
Do you know why this is?

There is going to be a hall effect sensor or reed switch in that area of the holder. Try tapping it or putting a magnet there. Maybe something loose inside.
Assuming you've properly set the temperature and airflow settings.
