Samsung has belt feeders, where a continuously moving belt delivers the parts up to the front of the feeder. I had a Contact Systems vibratory feeder on my old Philips CSM84 (made by Yamaha). It was, indeed a pain to use but I did get it set up to work fairly well. I cut top guards out of paper card stock and taped these over the lanes of parts so only the front-most part was exposed. Otherwise, sometimes the lifting of the part flipped over the next-up part. The card stock really improved the operation. I now have a different vibratory feeder for my Quad QSA30 machine, and it works a bit better than the Contact Systems one. I have not needed to use the vib feeder in at least a year, I get everything on tape if possible.
