Now you could choose color pcb on PCBWay

Hello everyone

Now you can select color PCB on PCBWay. You just need to select "UV Printing Multi-Color" in the silk screen and provide the rendered picture.
There are a few points to note:
1.Drill holes, traces, soldermasks, and outline designs must comply with specifications.
2.When designing colored characters, avoid areas with solder mask openings, such as avoid placing them over surface-mount pads and through-hole pads.
3.Colored characters can be provided through reference pictures and reference alignment map (for easy alignment with PCB), without the need to be designed in Gerber files. If designed in Gerber files, they should only be placed on the silkscreen layer and annotated with colors.
4.Overall effect files of colored boards support the following file formats: AI, PDF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc.The clearer the picture, the better the effect.

Can you specify the Image location/ resized-bounding outline in a mechanical layer Gerber file and do you stretch to fit the boundry?

Does the pcb house automatically remove conflicting (over exposed copper) image printing from the solder mask layers?

Sounds like a great service, but you really need a fully-fluent, human, electronics-savvy Chinese-to-English translator to write the English text, because it’s really unclear right now. The requirements are not really understandable.

Its fairly clear to me: Give them the picture and a reference image showing where the image is placed on the PCB and how it is scaled.
You could probably add four corner points on your silkscreen to help them to align it, assuming a square photo.

For the first question,I don't understand what you mean clearly,could you explain that?
Usually the process is like this:
1. If you give us pictures and board renderings, we can adjust it;
2. If a certain layer of gerber data is given, then we can do it based on a certain layer of gerber data, but we can only print one color.
So I suggest using the first method, it will be more convenient.
