What are people using for glueing support for tall SMT electros ( panasonic A780EN476M1HLAS050)
I've got a whole load of 6.3mm dia, 10mm tall electrocs they seem quite wobbly and I'me concerned they wont like some vibration modes.
The leads are a bit more proud of the base then what I am used to .
I see many people use some soft white silicon goop, but these merely dampen the motion, not fix them . maybe its enough
Too rigid a fix (ie epoxy) and it will tear the mask off the PCB, maybe , and no give with physical thermal change excursions I dunno. depends how its done.
