Procurement agents in China?

Hello,

I started a new project, which requires sourcing various industrial components from China manufacturers (load cells, displacement transducers, other bits and bobs). I tried alibaba and it is a hard work and more like a kinder garden than a professional sourcing platform.

I have experience with manufacturing agent houses for the mechanical components, which assist with all the enquiries in English, deal with suppliers, assure all the compliance documentation are in order etc etc. And for that they charge a commission or a fee. And I am happy to pay it if I can build confidence in the person I am dealing with.

Is anybody able to recommend a familiar agent/company based in EU or far east familiar to the above described, working in industrial controls component sourcing and supply from China?  to clarify I am not interested in the Chinese manufacturer's distributors, charging the 10x for the same part, just with a graduate sales engineer knocking on my door every month.
