Second source for TPS5401D

(1/1)

Faringdon:
Hi,
We layed out a board for TPS5401D....(10MSOP), but its gone nil stock.
We cant find a like-4-like alternative.
Do you know of one?

TPS5401D is a buck regulator

No idea about that specific part, but have a look at the Richtek range.  They have a number of parts that are "compatible" with some other TI DC/DC converters I've used.

They even have some in MSOP-10 with basically the same pinout as the TPS5401 but with different specs e.g. RT6362.
Whether you can source any of them is another matter...

SMTech:
Also don't forget to leave out any of the packaging letters from the part number when searching or sending out requests. some places are smart enough to filter that out if your options are limited, and some are not.

I'm sure many of us have reached the same conclusion as TSMC and various bits of the press report, the current component shortages all point back at TI as being the primary bottleneck with LT/AD close behind. Only another 18months to go  |O yay!
