Soldering iron no ESD protection?

Hi,
Do you know if the following soldering iron has an earthed tip?

I emailed AVSL but no reply as yet.

I used to own this soldering iron and soldered up some boards with it, then it broke and i threw it away, so i now cant measure to see if its tip is earthed.
