Soldering iron no ESD protection?
«

Hi,
Do you know if the following soldering iron has an earthed tip?
https://www.avsl.com/product/703.260UK-switchable-soldering-iron-20w130w
I emailed AVSL but no reply as yet.
I used to own this soldering iron and soldered up some boards with it, then it broke and i threw it away, so i now cant measure to see if its tip is earthed.

Why would you bother? It's garbage in any case.
