Title: Thin boards bow too much in chain oven
Post by: loki42 on April 03, 2024, 09:45:30 pm
I'm running 0.6mm panels in a chain oven and I've only got support at the edges,  no middle rail. I'm getting too much bowing and boards have fallen off in the oven and I've had to retrieve them... I'm only running single sides.

How should I make the board bow less?  They need to be that thickness for the touch sensor.  Should I use pallets? A middle rail out of stainless cable or something? Just run the thin boards through the oven faster?

Sounds like you need a reflow carrier.
