Title: Wavetek model 112 PCB connectors
Post by: andymouse on June 10, 2022, 08:45:59 pm
Hi,
I am trying to find a part number for the gold connector pins used on an old Wavetek signal generator. They are separate 'Pins' that are split nearly down the middle and allow to such pins to lock together in a scissor like manner, one set on a PCB and another set at 90 degrees on a back plane and you can plug the PCB in, not sure if my description will ring any bell's as the sig-gen is old made late 60's.I would like to get some so I can make a 'riser' board to aid calibration and any thoughts would be welcome.

Cheers
Andy.

Those connectors were discontinued decades ago and are difficult to find.  They were made by EDAC, ELCO and AVX.  Here's some info that I've got on them.  Be careful - there are multiple sizes that are not compatible with each other.
