Will Itead be able to manufacture PCB with a .5mm pitch 100 pin QTFP footprint?

I'm starting a design for a new project using a bunch of 100 pin .5mm pitch pic32mx460's in a TQFP package that we were throwing away at work.

I was hoping that I could use Itead or Seeed to manufacture my boards because the fab we use for prototypes at work would charge 100+ bucks per piece!

Has anyone designed a board with a .5mm pitch? I've been searching online for peoples experiences but so far I haven't found anything conclusive.

I don't care if the yield isn't 100% working. I have 6 or 7 chips and apparently Itead will send you 12 if you opt for the open source option so 75% working yield would be good enough (I know desoldering each chip will be a pain but it still beats paying 100 bucks a board).

I don't really want to waste my time designing only to get 1 or 2 working boards when I need 6 or 7... Also it'd be a waste of 50 bucks.

Edit: I may be wrong about get shipped 12 boards. Rather they make 12 and send 2 out to random people and you get 2 random boards from other people. If anyone could confirm that'd be great :-+

0.5 mm QFP. Yes, several times and I never had a problem. Make sure you have at least 0.1 mm of solder mask between the pins or they may simply remove the thin lines.

Even 1 mm BGA is possible. 0.8 mm not so much, because the minimum hole size is 0.3 mm, which leaves little room for the annular ring.

0.5mm pitch TQFP is nothing special and every PCB fab house should be able to make a PCB for that kind of package, even chinese ones...

You get two random boards from other people. Not 12 of your own boards.

well i got 22 boards instead of 20 from seed none of them marked bad. i will check them when i assemble it
