DH-485 Interface

Hello Mates,

needed to reprogram a PanelView 550 with a DH-485 USB interface (1749-UIC), quick inspection the USB device recognized and enumerated as prolific USB Serial bridge in COM4. DH-485 is a protocol, does anyone know if a simple USB-RS485 would work? I've had not enough time to poke around.
