Title: Keithley 2450- 2470 and Labview
Post by: nmtriplett on August 06, 2022, 01:15:45 am
Hi all, I was led here with internet search on Keithley models with different trigger edges and it seems like there are folks here who know their stuff.

I am trying to integrate a very simple Keithley trigger model in Labview with an oscilliscope portion that is already set to receive waveform and save. All I want is for Keithley to source X voltage and Y current once a pulse is detected on digital IO #1 and enable output for 500ms and save in default buffer. With Labview, seems the easiest way to do this is with SCIP commands, but for some reason scope is triggering before output is enabled. Thoughts? I can send Keithley log and what the trigger model looks like.

Related, I have heard TSP code is much more powerful for Keithley than SCPI and have also seen the thread on running a Labview "wrapper" VI that runs the TSP code. Would you recommend this over SCPI and suggestions on creating trigger model for above scenario in TSP?

Thanks in advance for any help!
