New Amazon Prime Air Delivery Drone

Amazon's new Prime Air Delivery drone test flight.
Seems to use the hexagonal prop guards as a mini wing for speed/efficiency, complete with a mini vertical stabilizer.  Kind of a VTOL?

How are they carrying the package?  Would like to have seen how they drop one off.

Do you need a landing pad like they show in your yard?  Should be fun to see how people interact with them.  Seems like endless entertainment for mischievous youth.
