I would also doublecheck the polarity of your mains sockets/outlets when using many adapters/splitters. I had to mess with it until I got everywhere the phase/live pin in the same orientation against neutral in the sockets. The mains splitters/adapters may (and did) reverse it. I saw a diff in measurements when the large wiring with many meters, computers, lamps, soldering irons, PSUs all coming from a single outlet via several splitters in my lab had the phase/live pin reversed against the other wirings in the room..
