DAC linearity test. 16/ 12 bits.
« on: July 04, 2022, 01:43:17 am »
Was playing with MCP3561R module, and discovered that ADC has exceptionally good linearity - THD below -130dB.
Testing was done with AC & FFT, so next move would be to verify using DC voltage.  I get my best DAC's out of shoe box and put them in quick test - 400 pixel (dots) than differential between ADC readings and LMS line. Results may not be accurate on vertical scale - 16ppm actually 32ppm - I used resistive divider to get 5V into 3.3V ADC range. But there is some impressive surprise with dac80501 I get, that may be interesting for others , so decided to share.
