We keep hanks of fine stranded silicone 0.75mm in-stock for making our own general purpose test leads.
Usually from Rapid Electronics:
01-0641 (black)
01-0640 (red).

Pomona 6733-0 and 6733-2 use 18 awg wire. They are rated for up to 20A.

My usage is not for Metrology,
these were when I was making only for my handheld DMM and bench DMM
AWG 16 or 1.25sq
for large current leads.
AWG 18 or 0.75sq
for soft and comfortable leads.

I buy silicon cables at Akihabara in store to check softness and flexibility by touching them before I buy them, because not all silicon cables are soft, some are sticky, worse than the PVC.
The good one feels as if it has a powder coating.
The one I bought from Franky's store was the best among I bought online.

Thanks guys, I have ordered some 18 AWG cables as the most current I'll be measuring is 5A and the cable will be nice and super flexible, just what I want.
