Rebonjour a tous:
Found all the splitters and cables needed to form a GPS master clock with the Leo Bodnar set at 5 or 10 MHz and 32 ma output, driving a chain of 2X >>4X splitters.
Old Merrimack 4 way splitters are much better than the specs: BW ~ 500 kHz..200 MHz at 50 Ohms.
Mini-Circuits ZFSC-2-1 2 way splitter is speced 5-500 MHz but measures much wider BW.
Either 75 Ohm or 50 Ohm splitters are OK on 50 Ohm Zo. Splitter Attenuation ~ 3..6 db
Check every device EXT CLK spec for Zin and Freq.
Yokogawa scope DL7440: NO EXT REF CLK, only EXT timebase...
HP4195A : 10 MHz/N N = 1..10 autolock,
EIP - Phase Matrix 575 counter: 10 MHz 1V PP 300 Ohms
HP3325A synthesizer 10 MHz/N N = 1-10 autolock, 0 dbm 50 Ohm
HP 8640B RF generator 5 MHz >100 mV Zo 1k Ohm
Either a dual output GPS or a 5 MHz GPS followed by a frequency doubler can run either 5 or 10 MHz instruments.
Bon dimanche,
Jon
