FE-5650A CPOM anyone with experience with this?
« on: September 10, 2024, 09:44:35 pm »
This FE-5650A CPOM does not show up in any documentation I've found. it is out of telecom gear and set to 15Mhz.
https://www.prc68.com/I/FEIFS.shtml

I have attempted many ways to establish a serial or TTL connection with the DS80C323 chip, but nothing ever comes out of Ping 7.

Does anyone know if there's a trick to talk to this unit or a means to adjust the frequency to 10 MHz?

I have many of this unit, to change the frequency, it is NOT by any serial (TTL or 232, depends the chip) command, it needs to set the jump resistor inside. any way, it is easy, but I never been post here since many seller want to sell it.

Thank you. I have configured mine to 10 Mhz now. I'm exploring adding the 5 volt regulator so I only need to supply the unit a single 15v power.
