We would like to replace the Fluke 5500A calibrator output block, but are not available from Fluke.
How can I get this part?

Those connectors don't look so bad to me. Looks like only part of the insulation is broken?

I occasionally see Fluke calibrator connector blocks offered for sale on eBay, like this. But unfortunately I don't see any for the Fluke 5500A right now. Maybe if you're patient one will show up eventually?

I would replace them with a low thermal binding post such as:

http://www.lowthermal.com/cables-and-connectors.php

Binding post is much more useful than shrouded banana jack.

First check if the 5500A shares the worn out safety banana plastic parts with some Fluke multimeter of the same era.

In a home lab yes, but in commercial use it will be a safety issue. Not in real life, but from the regulations point of view.

Didn't contemporary 5700 series calibrators ship with regular binding posts, and have the same output voltage range?

If the TS does decide for conversion to binding posts, then forum user branadic is offering low thermal binding posts until the end of January.
