Be careful about installing new firmware on 34461A. I had a problem with a 34470A that Keysight said would be cured by installing the most up to date firmware. So I did, and it worked. Emboldened by this success, I thought I ought to update the firmware on my two 34461A. The Keysight 34461A was perfectly happy, but the (final generation) Agilent promptly stopped working. I informed Keysight and it took time before they accepted responsibility for incompatible firmware (NOT mentioned on the download), collected the meter, fixed, and returned it. Admittedly, it was all done FOC, but there was a lot of hassle involved and it shouldn't have been necessary.
In short, it's only really worth updating firmware that works if the new firmware has something you genuinely need or the existing firmware has a bug that causes you trouble.
