Keysight 34461A, update frimware.

My attempt to update the firmware in my 34461A.
1. Download frimware update zip file.
2. Extract all zipped files --> one file *.upd
3. Copy file to thumb drive and place thumb drive in 34461A front USB receptacle
4.  Press update firmware button  -->  error message "file not found".

What am I doing wrong?

For using .upd you need to install their utility. To directly copy the files you need "Firmware Update for Non-Windows Operating Systems"

Also if you have 1.xx firmware, you need to update to 2.17 first.

Thank you.  After a bit of fiddling and getting rid of a defective thumb drive, I got oi to update.
