New Peltier power driver LT8722

For those of us looking for any excuse to try Peltier elements… Analog has announced a new power stage for Peltier devices, the LT8722.
- 15V abs max power input (much higher than ADN8835 et al. at 5.5V)
- Up to 4A output
- 25b DAC inside to turn digital word into voltage  reference (<1uV INL quoted for +-13V output range)
- coarse current limiting

Downsides:
- You’d need your own temperature sensor (+ADC) and digital controller.
- data sheet missing a lot of min and max specifications, suggests it’s still in flux

2 years later and still unawailable...
But at least the demo board DC3145A is awailable for ~130$.
