Recommendations wanted for AC calibrator.
« on: August 20, 2020, 05:47:40 am »
I already own a Valhalla 2703 and a Fluke 5200A, which both have certain feature sets.

What I am looking for is something that crosses over and basically does everything in one box, so capable of going up to 1000VAC with adjustable frequency from 10Hz up to at least 50KHz, ideally higher, and with that capability at the high voltage settings.

My Fluke can do 1MHz, but only up to 110V, my Valhalla can do 1000V, but only up to 1KHz (it can do 100KHz up to 120V)

I am just wanting feedback about anything else out there (which doesn't cost $3000+) that I do not know about, so I could maybe consider getting one and selling off my existing ones (I do have the Fluke for sale actually, NZ only).
Cheers Scott

Don't sell the 5200 and find a 5205? You have to have the space but I think it's your best bet for the price.

I would also like a Fluke 5205 to go with my 5200A but these only seem to pop up occasionally on the US market.

Like the TheDefpom I am also located in NZ and the cost of freight from the US for a hefty beast like the 5205 is a major deal killer.
