I have a Rigol DG1022Z function generator I bought new 7 years ago and when I get access to a GPSDO I would like to tweak the frequency accuracy of the Rigol. Don't want to touch anything else, just the frequency. Could someone point me to a step by step guide how to do this?
I don't think it has noticeably drifted, just want to make sure it is as accurate as possible.

Hi
Did that with my DG1062Z last week, see page 2-3 in the cal manual attached.
Suggest to use a scope instead of the frequency counter.
Plug your reference clock to one channel and the properly configured CH1-out to the other channel.
Adjust so that both waves don't move against each other, will result in a mHz accuracy.
Cheers M.

Thanks heaps Freddy15. :-+
To enter the calibration mode it says to enter the password. Is there a default password for these?

Hi
If you haven't changed it ;) the standard calibration password is “123456” (see 1-1)
Cheers
