Datron 1062 Calibration Fixture 400391 and 400392
« on: January 01, 2026, 05:31:43 pm »
Hi group,

The first two lines of the Datron 1062 DC calibration call for connecting a 1M \$\Omega\$ resistor in parallel with a 1nF capacitor for the Lin step. A 10M \$\Omega\$ resistor in parallel with a 1nF capacitor is required for the IB step. Both networks are described as shielded and given the Datron part numbers 400391 and 400392 respectively.

I was unable to find any pictures of these fixtures. I had to take an educated guess at the design.

This what I came up with:

I have connected the case and the shielding copper to the Guard terminal.

The networks are housed in a 1 inch length of aluminum extrusion.

Does anybody have the official fixtures?

Regards,

Very nice.

I always just used some through hole parts and screwed them down in the terminals, seemed to work fine.
Cheers Scott
