Wavetek 9100 Procedures?
« on: May 02, 2022, 06:10:27 am »
Hi all. I have wavetek 9100 calibrator that i want to use under remote control. It seems that my calibrator is having PCMCIA memory card slot for external procedures which can allow me doing calibration without computer connected. But i cannot find any procedures or procedure writing manual.
Does anyone know how i can write those procedures? The calibrator datasheet pdf tells me that i can generate custom procedures in Portocal-II software (but i was unable to find any download link and wavetek website was down long time ago). Maybe someone knows where i can find calibration software, or at least any sample procedure?

I had this idea many years ago, and asked Fluke, they do not recommend so.
- You must have PCMCIA Type I card
- You may need Win 95 PC for running the software
- I suppose the procedure written only controls 9100 and with user interaction (e.g., ask for user input for hand-held DMM cal)

So, back in the day, I wrote a program in VB6...

But for fun, you are encouraged to try, we've been switch to 5502A for years.
