so,
here it is an interesting lecture about Synaptics-t1004 based touchpad to ps/2
I have also found the following
- Synaptics T1002, Apple PowerBook G3 Wallstreet, TM1002A Rev H, 8 pin, PIC16C58 ... probably Apple Desktop Bus
- Synaptics T1002, Apple PowerBook G3 Lombard, 920-000169 Rev D, 12 pin, Synaptics M1658TQ32 ... unknown protocol (USB? I can't find information about Synaptics M1658TQ32, it's attached to Synaptics T1002)
- ALPS JCI-S1S, Fujitsu Siemens (provably also Sony/Vaio) laptop, PS/2 interface
I am looking for a
touchpad, I need to directly interface it to a fpga, therefore I need something known.
ALPS JCI-S1S seems to be present on
ebay, but ... I haven't found useful information, even if it has been used in an arduino
project, problem with that: that guy wired the cable, no information about the PCB, and on ebay sellers don't provide exactly that same
touchpadI am opened to different approaches, methods, hacks
p.s.
I have here the
Apple TM1002A used in
Wallstreet laptop, but I'd rather avoid to implement
Apple Desktop Bus (ADP)p.s.2
I can't fine datasheet about
Synaptics T1002, does it speaks PS/2 natively?
