Does anyone have any information on an MAB8440P microcontroller? It is a member of the Mullard/Philips MAB8400 series, which is a modified version of the intel 8048 series. According to the attached article, there was a "bond out" chip available that could have an EPROM attached for software development. Does anyone know anything about this bond out chip. Are there any disassemblers (for a logic analyser) or emulators (MCS-48 based) out there? The MAB8440P supposedly supports I2C, although I have yet to test this with my Logic16. Article and target device application attached. Thanks.

These MCUs are sold at ebay. But I could not find any datasheet. Only this 'technical handbook' showed up in google search: https://manuals.plus/m/a761b7596e00eb5d608045a55d57f5ee2592f7d55a9a61032b27030f27fa107a

Google finds this MAB8401B piggyback part
https://www.ebay.com/itm/185644867950
tho there are also quasi-footprint parts
https://www.ebay.com/itm/294024134898
Where someone has created a board with a AVR mounted and pin mapped to replace a mask version. (D011?)
