Are Fujitsu microcontrollers still available?

(1/1)

DaveInPA:
I've got an older device i'm trying to interface with and it has a Fujitsu F2MC-8L MB89190 microcontroller on it. I'd like to order a chip and play around with it before i attempt to do too much with my existing device. I started to look around and it looks like its discontinued and i can't fine any place to source the chip. I tried to look for other model numbers in the family but haven't seen anything.

Is this microcontroller family no longer manufactured and if so does anyone know places to source old chips like this?

Benta:
Long, sad story with serial acquisitions and obsoleted MCUs along the way:

Fujitsu -> Spansion -> Cypress -> Infineon.

In any case, only the MB89P195 would be of interest to you, all other derivatives are mask programmed.

NOS seems to be available.

The MB89P195 looks like a camera controller, for a camera made 15 years ago.
