  • It's important to try new things..
FYI - people are sometimes looking for a cheapo flash memory chips programmer - I've been using the cheapo USBasp for programming xxxkB and XXMB flash chips.
The GUI is the AsProgrammer (SPI, I2C, Microwire flash chips).

You have to flash a fw update into the USBasp. It adds the flash memory chips programming.
Works fine here, it allows some scripting too.

I would love to program dallas one-wire eeproms with this project


asprogrammer_v2.1.0.9.zip  is out  on their forums

Any idea why they abandoned GitHub at v1.4?
I think v2 was carried on by someone else, but not sure why not just fork.

There's also NeoProgrammer, which I think is a continuation of AsProgrammer 2:
