For some reason I'm thinking Parallax Propeller
Couldn't really argue for it though :P

i think most hobiest use arduino but they are doing simple stuff.. When you trying to get more into AI, what do ppl use??
Also im not taking something as high as ASIMO that uses a 3d cpu (http://www.digitalworldtokyo.com/index.php/digital_tokyo/articles/honda_creates_3d_cpu_to_power_super_asimo)
But something in between arduino and that 3d cpu... I know that most of the time ppl using arduino have to use interrupts to do multiple things at the same time, but u run out of them really quick...

Look into Parallax Propeller - 8 concurrent processing cores, no interrupts
