blown arduino chip
« on: May 06, 2012, 07:48:48 am »
hi. i've owned an arduino uno for about a year, but something went wrong the other day; the smd atmega 328 blew up, because i accidently connected 12v to the 5v rail instead of Vin. although i can do basic through hole soldering, smd is not the thing for me or my weller soldering iron, so could someone replace the chip for me, for less than 20 australian dollars. i live in melbourne, so ideally i dont want to send it out of victoria. please contact me at blackjames098@gmail.com
thanks for any help or suggestions.
