Cheap ARM Cortex-M4F Microcontroller board.
« on: August 15, 2013, 04:51:28 pm »
Just got email from TI, they've dropped the price of their ARM Cortex-M4F launchpad to $7.99

I bought two of these a while back and am yet to get a chance to play with them.

The Stellaris LM4F120H5QR Microcontroller has:

* 32 KB single-cycle SRAM
* 256 KB Flash memory
* 2KB EEPROM

I'm guessing they're selling off old stock, that board has been replaced by the EK-TM4C123GXL which still costs $12.99.

EDIT: If you buy one of these boards, be sure to read the errata list as well.

Yeah, that's my guess as well, there is a big note in red on the product page of the Stellaris launchpad I linked to. It's still an interesting board if you're trying to get into ARM architecture.

And yes, the errata list is quite large. I ordered the two I have on 9/8/2012 and received the A3 version of the chip. I'm not sure what is shipping on the current models though.

•USB Micro-B plug to USB-A plug cable

Finally! I'm getting tired of collecting all these Mini B cables! It least Micro B can be used to charge modern devices in a pinch and not an old blackberry or ancient HTC phone.
