hi everyone i need help about controlling smps with pc817+ atmega8 and remove the tl431 saw i can get amps and voltage that i want
is pwm is the way to go or ther is an ather way

You can just modify the TL431 feeback and do exactly that

i'm trying to make bench power supply from 0 to 50 volt 10 amps and i need some suggest on how to control pc817
iam using codevision avr

Keep the TL431 error amplifier and use PWM to make a variable current to drive into the summing point of the TL431 to adjust the output.
