Hello everyone,

I'm working on a project involving the ARM Cortex M0 series, particularly the LPC82x, and I'm facing a technical challenge. I'd like to use QtCreator as my primary IDE but need to integrate it with the MCUXpresso IDE's build tools.

Main Objective: To write code in QtCreator and have the compilation and linking handled by the MCUXpresso IDE, specifically for the ARM Cortex M0 (LPC82x) series.

Key Questions:
1. Integration Steps: Has anyone successfully set up QtCreator to use the MCUXpresso IDE's build tools for ARM Cortex M0 development? If so, how?
2. Configuration Details: What specific settings or configurations are needed within both QtCreator and MCUXpresso IDE to achieve this integration?
3. Potential Issues: Are there known compatibility issues or challenges when using these tools together for LPC82x development?

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

I have used QT creator with external makefiles for a while to write firmware for AVR controllers. I quite liked the IDE, but the company who makes QT is not very friendly to open source so I ditched the IDE again after a while.
