SiLab 8051F410 programmer
« on: August 15, 2016, 08:06:50 pm »
So hello eevryone,

I received an 8051F410 from SiLabs, and all is fine but im new with 8051, and my problem is how to make a cheap programmer for this guys.

Any idea, i tried to find something on net but either i typed the wrong search quote or it is hard to find.

So simply is there any simple programmer for these 8051, something you could build easily. Im ok with SMD work.

Thanks all the best.

Get a dev kit programmer, for instance USB ToolStick, for $25.

Their debugger programmer is one of the cheapest. Why spend hours when you can simply buy one for 30$?

They are almost identical, while debug adaptor has current limitation and switch, as well as miltiple target voltage support.
ToolStick is only designed with polyfuse protection (no electronic OCP), and it only comes with 3.45V target voltage option.

That and the last 5 pages of the C8051F410 datasheet should be enough.
