J-link HW versions - little confusion
« on: August 27, 2021, 08:16:14 am »
Hi folks.
I want to buy Segger J-link EDU, it is reasonably cheap to avoid messing with Chinese clones
I'm just a little confused with their hardware versions.
Do they still have it as the same J-link box without any marking and inside is a surprise?
As today should be 3 versions V9, V10, and V11.
And all that version x features table is deep in the wiki page and not in the main product page  :-//

The boxes are indeed the same, but the sticker on the bottom tells you the version.

IIRC, when I bought mine, the online listing explicitly said V11.... when I checked today, I couldn't find that anymore...
But I would be surprised if you get something other than V11... I got mine 3 years ago and it was a V11 :)
