kernel 4.* what is the process "bioset" ?
« on: March 18, 2019, 02:37:26 pm »
so I have noticed a lot of processes "bioset" and it's not clear what it is.

Code: [Select]
# ps -a | grep bioset

  860 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  863 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  866 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  869 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  872 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  875 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  878 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  881 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  884 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  885 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  886 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  887 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  888 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  889 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  890 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  891 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  892 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  893 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  894 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  895 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  896 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  897 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  898 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  899 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  932 ?        00:00:00 bioset
  935 ?        00:00:00 bioset

the whole rootfs is an embedded stage4, profiled to be a router device, so it's really weird.
Kernel linux v4.9.6

Googling made me more confused about this  :-//
