Cray on an FPGA
« on: June 28, 2013, 08:51:44 am »
I've always wanted to sit on a Cray, haven't you? They always looked so comfy...

This guy took a Spartan 3E and turned it into a Cray 1 Supercomputer. Pretty Cool!

It boots Cray COS from 1989:

Now if you don't have a Spartan 3E you can check this guys project out:

Using information from the first project, he wrote an emulator that boos Cray COS on a PC.
