Microchip MDDFS & dsPic33F
« on: February 04, 2017, 03:09:17 am »
Hi :)
Anyone have them working together?
I’ve been using an older version that was a sample for dsPic33FJ, but it’s a version prior to SDHC support.

Last night I upgraded from C30 which is years outdated, to XC16, the latest MPLAB, and latest MDDFS. Surprise! It still doesn’t work :D
Bonus surprise, my C30 project runs fine, and only a minimal change was required to use -o1 optimisation with it.
Those two things are the opposite of what I expected. It means the old MDDFS is still compiling fine with XC16.

I was hoping someone might have made a self contained MDDFS project they might share, just to get the SDHC cards working.
Cheers, Brek.

I squashed in Microchip’s image decoder library into my mp3 player as well,
to have a go at Coverflow... or Covershow.. or even Coverslow.
They are mostly Jpegs in mp3 ID3 tags, and if the track was exported from iTunes, it’s guaranteed.
Sadly there was no 128x64 mono LCD driver in the image decoder demo.

and greyscale by cycling bitplanes....
