Electrons are typically male, always looking for any hole to get into.

It's not a bad little low-pin-count microcontroller. You can pick up a pack of 10 SSOP20-to-DIP adaptors on eBay for about a quid, which makes them easier to experiment with, and with their low-power features they are useful for battery powered projects which need to fit in a limited space.

That puppy has 7 ADC channels, UART, AN5 and AN6 are the HW UART pins, and you have some DIO also, you could hook it up to a FTDI or equivalent serial to USB bridge and make a USB data acquisition board, you could use it to drive relays, use shift registers to make a matrix display board, loads of things you could do with it,

Hi Wilksey, sounds like it is interesting , I have no knowledge of Pic chips except when i used to use them for the old playstations... So it was a case of stick in programmer burn hex code and insert into ps.

Might have a look about later to find something interesting to make with one then. Thanks for the info.

Garry
