NXP: New(-ish) MCX microcontrollers
« on: January 08, 2025, 04:20:21 pm »
I had read about them in the past, but I never had time to look into them in detail, so I was wondering if anyone here knows more about them that could not be found without reading hundreds of documents and attending special presentation sessions, especially in the sense of how do the compare to NXP's other two product lines, Kinetis and LPC?

Nope, I just saw that they are going to release the MCX-L, ultra-low power series, apparently kinda in the same league as the STM32U5 (same ARM M33, "similar" power consumption figures), but as far as I've seen, they are going to have limited Flash & RAM compared to the STM32U5 and a limited set of peripherals, so not really excited at this point. OTOH, they seem to embed a second, M0+ core.
