DS1981U, UniqueWareTM iButton
« on: January 20, 2016, 07:51:22 pm »
hi guys
I am a bit confused and I am not able to find a good document
I have to reprogram, or to emulate, a chip that is used to provide the MAC-address to a UNIX box
this chip is called "DS1981U", it communicates with the economy of one signal plus ground (and probably it's read only)

someone experienced ?

What I want to do is make an MPU or a CPLD to become a slave on the 1-wire bus, with DS1981U command list for its specific functions.
