resurecting littlewire

(1/1)

AnneRanch:
I am trying to brink back to useful life my "little wire" .
( To be honest  -  I have NEVER actually used it !)

I started with  verifying its existence in my system - lsusb

qe@qe-desktop:~$ lsusb

qe@qe-desktop:~$
OK
then I did this - per instruction on web site

qe@qe-desktop:~$ avrdude -c usbtiny -p t85 -U flash:w:micronucleus-1.02.hex -U lfuse:w:0xe1:m -U hfuse:w:0x5d:m -U efuse:w:0xfe:m

avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
         this check.

avrdude done.  Thank you.
then this  - adding -F option

qe@qe-desktop:~$ avrdude -c usbtiny -p t85 -U flash:w:micronucleus-1.02.hex -U lfuse:w:0xe1:m -U hfuse:w:0x5d:m -U efuse:w:0xfe:m -F

avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
avrdude: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions
avrdude: Device signature = 0xe1cc0b
avrdude: Expected signature for ATtiny85 is 1E 93 0B
avrdude: NOTE: "flash" memory has been specified, an erase cycle will be performed
To disable this feature, specify the -D option.

avrdude done.  Thank you.

Since I  have no clue what are all the options in "avrdude" command I assume that I need to change the "signature".

Can anybody suggest how ?

Thanks
