Searching for AVSIM09
« on: June 19, 2023, 10:01:53 am »
Hi community,

I'm searching for that very old AVSIM09 software made by Avocet systems, a company that disappeared a while ago. When I was young, i.e a long ago ;), I had fun using that software to simulate my 6809 programs - 6809 is the processor I learned at school in the late 80's.

Thanks  :-+

It's two weeks now without an answer...
I suggest you look into other simulators for the 6809.

could not find it either.

A number of emulators were written for 6809-based machines that ran the "Flex" operating system. One or more of those, if you can find them, might be able to run 6809 code that is not Flex-related. Or, perhaps for your purposes it may not matter that they were specifically for Flex systems.

I have not really looked at these for years, but some names you can try looking for are Reflex, Flexemu and SWTPCemu. Taking a quick look myself now, I found the last of those here: http://www.evenson-consulting.com/swtpc/
