Arduino Serial Monitor Clear?
« on: January 22, 2014, 05:48:20 pm »
Hi, I have a data logging program running thats logging light data from an LDR. Everytime I open the serial monitor, I have a line or two of left over data that pops up before my SD card gets setup. How can I have the serial monitor clear the entire screen when I call it up?

Hi,

Strictly speaking the monitor is a debugging window only so as far as I know has no clear command. You could however use a terminal emulator program and just send the ascii clear code.........hmmm, possibly, as I haven't tried it.
